The Genshin Impact 3.8 livestream went live on Friday June 23, 2023, at 08:00 UTC-4 / 04:00 PST / 07:00 EST / 13:00 BST on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel. The stream is also available on the official Genshin Impact Youtube an hour later.
What is the Genshin Impact 3.8 release date?
We believe that the Genshin Impact 3.8 release date is July 5, six weeks after the start of version 3.7.
Before that, Genshin Impact will go into maintenance for roughly five hours starting July 4 at 15:00 PST / 18:00 EST / 23:00 BST, or July 5 at 6:00 UTC+8. After maintenance concludes, you will receive a minimum of 300 primogems in your in-game mailboxas compensation for the game’s downtime.
Who will feature on the Genshin Impact 3.8 banner?
During the 3.8 livestream, Hoyoverse announced that the first phase banners feature Genshin Impact’s Klee and Genshin Impact’s Eula, while the second phase features Genshin Impact’s Kokomi and Genshin Impact’s Wanderer.

The Genshin Impact map has seen many expansions over the last few updates, especially to the deserts of Sumeru. There isn’t a standard expansion to the map this time, but there is a limited-time location to explore in the summer festival event.
