Annapurna’s idiosyncratic narrative title Storyteller is coming to Netflix Games later this year, providing plenty of picture book puzzles for you to weave stories through. Better still, Storyteller joins the roster of Netflix games with new characters and tales to weave, providing even more thought-provoking puzzles inspired by fairy tales and fables.

For those that don’t know, Storyteller is a narrative puzzle game from developer Daniel Benmergui, the gaming auteur behind Today I Die and I Wish I Were the Moon. While it’s been available on Switch and PC for a while, Storyteller is a perfect fit for mobile, with tight missions that you can tackle one at a time at your own pace.

I tried telling some tales myself earlier this year with my 6/10 Storyteller Switch review. My main gripe is with the length of the experience, so new content means I’m gearing up to flex my narrative muscles, and honestly, I’m really looking forward to forcing knights, fair maidens, and funky little trolls to get into all sorts of mischief again. The fresh content is coming to Switch and PC too, so you can continue an old save on those platforms if you prefer.

When is the Storyteller Netflix Games release date?

The Storyteller Netflix release date is set for September 26, 2023. As ever, if you’re a Netflix account holder you can play via the Netflix app for no extra charge. For a glimpse of what to expect in Storyteller, check out the trailer below.
