Best Diablo Immortal demon hunter skills

Like the rest of the classes that make up Diablo Immortal’s roster of battlers, the demon hunter has two primary skills. The first, which you begin your quest with, is the ranged crossbow shot that fires a single arrow at an enemy. The demon hunter’s second primary skill, explosive arrow, is similar to the crossbow shot, except it creates an explosion on impact, damaging the targeted enemy and those adjacent.

In terms of a playstyle for Diablo Immortal’s demon hunter, you need to be quick on your feet to make the most of their DPS nature and avoid taking hits as it’s the class that struggles most with staying alive. For this reason, the demon hunter synergises with the crusader, providing the ranged attacker with a human shield to deflect melee enemies.

Skill Unlock level Skill type Skill effect
Multishot One Damage Fires multiple arrows in a specific direction, damaging all those it hits
Rain of vengeance Three Damage Launch a volley of arrows toward a target area for four seconds
Daring swing 15 Dash Escape from perilous situations with a rope pull, damaging those you move past, with a short invulnerability window during movement
Knife trap 20 Damage Place an invisible knife trap that explodes dealing damage to unsuspecting enemies
Escape 44 Dash/control Stab an enemy to reduce their movement speed by 60% for four seconds, before rolling back and out of danger
Vengeance  50  Buff Transform into vengeance embodied for six seconds, adding an extra two shots to every primary and secondary ranged skill

Best gems for Diablo Immortal

In terms of the best gem to socket into the demon hunter’s equipment, Ca’arsen’s Invigoration is by far and wide the best early-game option. Boosting attack power and speed simultaneously, this gem makes the most of the demon hunter’s DPS status, and can help keep the glass cannon in the game by offering a quicker escape route.

Gem Effect
Ca’arsen’s Invigoration Boosts combat power and attack speed
Fervent fang Creates a stacking damage bonus that is particularly useful against single bosses
Berserker’s eye Boosts damage output and damage taken, this is a risky choice for the demon hunter, but if you’re playing with more than one tank, it can be justified
Seeping bile (late game)  One of the better options for a late-game demon hunter build, seeping bile has scaling posion and combat effects that can synergise to offer high DPS output

Best stats for Diablo Immortal demon hunter

The order of importance for the necromancer’s stats is to prioritise strength while maintaining an equal mix of fortitude, vitality, and willpower. Intelligence adds nothing to the build, due to the lack of magic attacks, so don’t even take that into account. Just make sure that your stats are adding some much-needed bulk, and the rest can go towards improving your strength.

With that, you should be ready to set up your Diablo Immortal demon hunter build and head out into Sanctuary to save the world.
